About Me

Hello and welcome! I'm Rebecca, and I'm completely obsessed with sewing and crafting! I started Annie & Wilf in 2012 after making bunting for my wedding. I’ve always loved creating so sewing personalised gifts and homeware is the perfect way to spend my days. 

At home, when I'm not in my sewing room or dreaming up new ideas for patterns I'm kept busy with my family. I'm married to a wonderful man called Tom, and I'm Mummy to a beautiful little girl called Phoebe. 

Since 2012 I've sold small batches of my own personalised handmade keepsakes, gifts and seasonal décor. Then in 2023, I introduced digital sewing tutorials to my business.

I went through some challenging times from 2021 to 2023 which include me losing my Dad suddenly, going through a major operation, and gutting and renovating our house.

During those times it was sewing that was a safe space for me. It always made me feel calmer, eased my anxiety and gave me a sense of accomplishment when I'd finished making something. 

It was because of this, and during this time that I decided to start sharing my love for sewing online with videos showing my process. I wanted to share some of that calm and uplifting feeling it gave me! Sewing and crafting is good for the soul and I hope to inspire you to get crafty too, by making your own beautiful pieces with my digital tutorials and patterns.
